Once she learned that he was my guy, why would she continue to offer him business and now she was going to allow the party after damn near chewing my head off at the office today. What the hell was she trying to do? She had the game fucked up if she thought that I would sit back and allow her to try and take a man that I've built up, away from me.

I had the location to where they were and was tempted to drive my ass over there to confront her, but that wouldn't be good business for Brye, and the bitch could fire me. It was time for us to secure our relationship because 5 years of playing house, it was time for him to put a ring on my finger. It was worth it knowing how much I've held him down from day one. My day was already ruined because of the meeting earlier today, and just when I was starting to unwind, now sadness and hurt, fearing betrayal and the potential loss of trust in the relationship consumed me. Once he found out who she was, why would he try to do business with her.

Overall, my feelings were turbulent, mixed with confusion, fear, and longing for honesty and transparency. Threatened by this woman because of who she was, it could be a possibility that Brye could be persuaded to fall into her trap because she has the means to make him more successful than he already is. My livelihood felt threatened and so did my relationship. I could be over thinking but knowing that he wasn't happy with how I reacted today when his brother showed up, him leaving the house without saying a word, we were in a bad place and Heather was a beautiful woman. I was freaking out because who knows what was going on or being said at this meeting.

It never dawned on me that it was a possibility that we would break up, and him move on with another woman after everything we've been through. Now, it was weighing heavily on my mind, and I didn't know what to do. I loved this man with everything I had in me, and losing him wasn't an option, not without a fight. We talked about future plans, and he promised me that once we were married, we would become business partners to build our legacy together. I wasn't ready for kids because I didn't want to share him with anyone or be tied down raising a kid when we were having the time of our lives working on our careers and traveling when we wanted. It was time for me to reevaluate my life and lock him in by getting pregnant. One thing I know about Brye, he's family oriented and would be locked in for life if he found out I was pregnant.

Shit, I just had an idea. Picking up my phone that laid on my bed, I dialed my friend, Alana's number.

"Hello," she answered on the first ring.

"Well, Brye had a meeting with someone who's supposed to help his business venture be taken to the next level. My boss is the one he met with tonight and Kara ass was telling me how she was damn near drooling out of her mouth and being flirtatious with him. She knows that we're together and she doesn't care. Anyways, I need to lock him in and feel secure in this relationship but I'm going to need to make him feel the need to put a ring on my finger right away. That's where you come in at."
